CNC Machinist / Operator

CNC MACHINIST/OPERATOR:

We have an immediate need for an experienced CNC machinist/operator. Key functions of your role will be to program, set up, and run jobs on CNC machining centers, CNC lathes and CNC horizontal boring mills, with a strong focus on quality and keeping the level of work consistent.

We are currently running Doosan and Haas systems. Ability to program in Fanuc G Code for Doosan and Haas machines and a must-have skill.

Experience running manual lathes highly preferred, but not required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up machines correctly in a timely manner
• Independently program and operate CNC machines 
• Ensure quality production at all times in addition to proper operation of machines
• Maintain traceability on all jobs
• Ensure quality and quantity standards are met on a daily/consistent basis
• Keep work area clean and organized at all times
• Perform all daily maintenance on equipment
• Always comply with safety protocol
• Comply with policies related to quality of work at all times

Required Experience/Skills

• 3+ years of experience operating CNC mills, lathes, and boring mills.
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to use measuring tools such as dial calipers, O.D and I.D. micrometers, bore gauges.
• Ability to set up and run jobs on CNC machines
• Ability to setup multiple jobs on multiple machines
